Agreed, Kosas Concealer is definitely worth raving about! Its seamless blendability and creamy texture are indeed noteworthy. As for its shade matching, Kosas has a decent range embracing warm, neutral, and cool undertones, which I appreciate.

Have you noticed the highlighter effect? It’s not glitter or visible shimmer but if you apply under your eyes, it gives a sheen like you’re gently lit from within. A little tip from my side – instead of a brush or fingers, using a beauty sponge to blend this product can really help to disperse the product evenly without losing that effect.

While Kosas concealer lacks the traditional ‘heaviness’ associated with some concealers hence less creasing, during my wear test over a 7-hour workday, I saw the tiniest bit of settling in fine lines. But nothing very noticeable and far less than what I’ve seen with other similar products.

But what’s truly great is the conscious effort put into the formulation – no fragrance or alcohol. Yeah, they did include coconut oil which might not be everyone’s favorite due to its comedogenic properties but remember to always patch test before going full throttle!

If you’re looking for an alternative of similar quality but cheaper, take a peek at CoverGirl’s TruBlend Undercover. This too packs some wow-factor points for being highly pigmented and long-lasting! Need more staying power on oilier skin? Pair it with a mattifying primer like The Ordinary’s High-Adherence Silicone Primer and check out that flawless finish!

Lastly, have you found the right shade in Kosas for yourself? Would love to hear how it’s working!

You guys nailed it – the shade range for this concealer is crazy good! I’m usually a tough match with my incredibly fair skin annd pink undertones, but their ‘Fair’ (01) shade is just perfect for me. Comparable to Tarte’s ‘Porcelain Beige’ in their Shape Tape line or Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in ‘Chantilly’ if that helps anyone with similar skin tone like me. It also doesn’t oxidize whatsoever thoughout the day, which has been an issue for me with other brands. Definitely recommend to try and see if you can find your match!

Totally agree with you on the drying aspect of the Natasha Denona Concealer. It gives good coverage but it’s definitely not for those with dry skin. I have found that the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is a pretty good dupe and it’s less drying. It doesn’t have fragrance or alcohol in it, which is always a plus. For application, I always make sure to moisturize well before using and I like to apply with a moist beauty sponge to help prevent caking. As for wear time, it holds up pretty well on my T-zone even after 6-7 hours without creasing or transferring too much.

On a side note, how did you find the shade match with Natasha? Maybelline has a decent range as far as drugstore brands go but it might not be an exact match depending on your undertones. Also curious about any specific primer you use under this concealer?

I totally agree with the praises for Huda’s Overachiever Concealer. The coverage is a dream, and it doesn’t falter even after hours of wear! A note on shades: I find it very inclusive, catering to different undertones. Plus, as a golden undertone girl myself, the shade Graham Cracker was jsut perfect.

But here’s a hot tip for beauties on a budget: the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer. It’s almost an equally power-packed performer compared to Huda’s, but at a significantly reduced price point. Just remembe,r you might wanna find your own shade match cause Maybelline tends to lean more pink in undertones.

Also, anyone else experienced shininess with the Overachiever around T-Zone? I have combination skin, so naturally my T-zone lights up like a Christmas tree after 3-4 hours. I found that using Becca’s Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector before application helps to control this.

Lastly, Huda’s formula contains fragrance – so patch test if necessary! Does anyone else have some dupes or tips to share? Particularly in terms of keeping that T-zone shine in check totally intrigued!
