Well, well, if it isn’t the secret elf Camo Concealer society! Count me in too. I’ve sung praises abotu it’s amazing coverage and shade range far and wide. But you know what’s even better? Realizing there are affordable dupes out there that perform just as well – talk about saving some cash!

For instance, Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer gives pretty much the same matte finish as elf, with just as much staying power but at a fraction of the cost. It might be worth giving that one a shot if your budget is tight.

One more tip for our concealer connoisseurs: always patch test new products before applying them to your face – no matter how excited you are to try them out. Does anyone else have some hidden dupes they’d love to share?

Wow, you’ve painted Tower 28 in such a positive light – I’m tempted to give it a try! I agree that a concealer should feel skin-like yet achieve good coverage. Speaking of the shade range though, how’s the undertone selection? For my part, I have a specific challenge in finding concealers with the right warm undertones.

Since ingredients are also important to me, I really appreciated that you touched upon the inclusion of soothing elements like calendula and green tea extract. As someone who prefers alcohol and fragrance-free formulations, this is great news.

On the wear-test front, does it withstand T-zone oiliness throughout the day? My current HG (holy grail) concealer manages jsut okay – but room for improvement there. Also, what’s your application tip for getting optimal coverage without accentuaitng dry areas?

Last but not least: do you know any cheaper dupe with similar formula and finish? Although Tower 28’s price point seems justified given its ingredient list and performance, it never hurts to have an affordable alternative on hand!

beauties, so I totally agree with the drying concern you’ve all noticed with the Natasha Denona concealer, but from my experience, a decent dupe that doesn’t compromise on coverage is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. The price point is way more friendly and above all, its formula seems to be less drying. It also comes in a pretty wide range of shades so finding a match should be easy for most of us. Like with any new product though, it might be worth patch testing first just to see how your skin reacts. Hope this helps!

guys, exactly! The Huda Beauty Overachiever Concealer really lives up to its name. I found it super pigmented, providing amazing coverage with just a tiny dot. The creamy consistency makes it easy to blend and build, so you don’t have to worry about cakey or patchy spots.

I’m ‘Coconut Flakes’ in shade and it’s perfect for my fair skin with cool undertones. If you’re looking for a similar fit but on a budget, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in ‘Fair’ is pretty close!

When applying this product I prefer using my trusty beauty blender rather than the metal tip applicator of the tube which can sometimes drag the product or feel cold. Sponge application gives me that gorgeous airbrushed finish which I absolutely love.

Of course, as we all know nothing’s perfect. While I appreciate the beautiful matte finish, it does tend to crease if you skip setting it with powder soon after blending – so make sure you don’t miss that step! For those of you concerned about ingredients, note that it does contain fragrance – do a patch test if your skin is sensitive.

Overall, I’m smitten by this concealer’s performance and it’s one of my ultimate go-tos for killer coverage!
