  • Alright ‘Lace’ fam, I gotta join the coven on this one. 😉 I recently snagged the Haus Labs concealer in ‘Lace’, and this bad boy does not play around. The shade match? 👌 Spot on. The finish? Smooth as can be and brightens those undereyes like a mini sunbeam.

Less keen on the doe foot applicator though – a bit too chunky for my liking (goodbye delicate application). But let me toss some drama in here: I ditched the HL primer halfway. Instantly noticed my undereyes looking less cakey and more natural, who would’ve thought?

But yeah, overall pretty impressed with the Haus Labs formula, didn’t expect to be bewitched but here we are. Worth giving it a whirl if you’ve got wrinkles to smooth over! Just remember to patch test first, you never know how your skin might react to new products!

Ha, hope you’re not expecting miracles from this cause after using the Hourglass concealer for a couple weeks now, I’ve gotta say it’s pretty good…but not earth shattering. I’d actually compare it to the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in terms of coverage and finish. The shade range, though? Different level entirely – Hourglass wins hands down.

Took my usual concealer (Maybelline) and this one on a date night for comparison, half-face application each (talk about dedication!). Gotta be honest here that by the end of the night there wasn’t much difference between the two sides, maybe apart from a bit more shine creeping through on the Maybelline side. To me, that’s just proof I should stick to that considering its part of my holy grail list and a fraction of the price!

My advice? If you’re rolling in dough or have sensitive skin that reacts better with Hourglass, go for it! But if you looking for a dupe that does a damn good job, then head to the nearest drugstore too pick up some good ‘ol Maybelline Fit Me. Always remember to patch test new stuff though, especially if your skin tends to be fussy!

Hehe, looks like I’m boarding the Shape Tape love train as well. 😍 Gotta admit, when it comes to coverage, this bad boy totally knocked my socks off! 🙌 I’m also a ‘Light Sand’ gal and it perfectly melts into my skin, making undereye circles straight-up vanish. Wooosh!

They weren’t kidding about that wand tho. It’s ginormous and kinda intimidating at first but I find iffy brushes sorta fun – they’re like challenges that make me up my game. 😁 As for the formula, it’s thick enough to cover all sins and buttery smooth but man alive does it love to party in my fine lines if I skip primer.

So folks, not breaking any deep ground here, but Tarte Shape Tape gets a big thumbs up from me. Just remember to pre-game with a good hydrating primer if you’ve also got those darn smile lines already working their way onto your face. (Ah, the joys of aging… 😂) Savvy tip: patch test first for sensitivities before you slather this all over your faces tho, ladies! ✨
