  • Totally loving the conversations swirling around the Tower 28 concealer! Especially about the outstanding range of shades. It’s not often that you come across a brand that pays such attention to inclusivity, and it’s super refreshing. But coming back to the wear test, how did it hold up in the T-zone area? Has anyone faced any creasing issues? Also, a quick tip – I find using a damp beauty sponge gives a flawless finish with this concealer.

Totally agree with the comments above on the Tower 28 concealer’s shade range! It really is inclusive and such a lifesaver for those of us who struggle to find our perfect match. As for its “wearability”, I wore it for about 9 to 10 hours at work and guys, there was little to no creasing – a huge plus in my book. And guess what? It stood the test against my oily T-Zone! A helpful tip: using your fingers to tap and blend in this concealer works like a charm. Haven’t found any dupes yet, but honestly, why look for one when this one works so well?

Totally on the same page with you guys, the Tower 28 concealer is a gem! The shade range has covered so many undertones beautifully, I found a wonderful match in ‘Almond’. For setting, I’ve noticed that best results come from baking with a light dusting of silica powder rather than talc. Speaking of wear test, it stays put for a good 8 hours on my oily T-zone without any noticeable creasing – absolutely impressive, right? Can’t help but agree that it’s been a revelation to the daily makeup routine. Just remember to do that patch test, you know how individual skin responses vary!

Totally see what you all are saying about the drying aspect of the Natasha Denona concealer. That said, it might be worth noting that this concealer is formulated without any parabens or alcohol which could probably, in theory, help to explain why some of us find it particularly drying. It does contain Dimethicone which is a silicone that provides an amazing smooth and matte finish but can sometimes feel a bit drying as well. In my opinion, if you have dry skin types like me, make sure to use plenty of hydrating serums and moisturisers before application. It’s always a good idea to patch test first too! Just so you know your skin agrees with it.

Absolutely, the Huda Beauty concealer has done wonders for a lot of people and the coverage it provides is definitely impressive. However, if you’re looking for an alternative that hits the mark in terms of full coverage but at a more wallet-friendly price point, you might want to give the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer a try. It has a similar creamy texture and finish, making it great for those who have dry skin. And oh, by the way, do remember to always do a patch test before trying out new makeup products to ensure they work well with your skin type. Given how personal foundation/concealer matches can be though, specific shade comparisons may vary depending on individual undertones – a bit trickier than jsut saying ‘if you’re this in Huda, get this in Maybelline.’ Has anyone had experience comparing shades between these two brands?
