ParticipantTotally on board with everyone loving the Tower 28 concealer. The shade range is a definite win-win here. Now let’s talk ingredients – its clean and fragrance-free formula is a massive plus, especially for sensitive skin folks (always remember to patch test!). It doesn’t contain any potential irritants like alcohol which is an excellent thing becuase no one wants unwanted dryness, right?
The real kicker for me was finding out it’s formulated without talc or silica, perfect for someone who’s always on a lookout for non-drying options. How great is that? So, just to reiterate – you’re potentially scoring hydration plus concealer in one here people! However, do be mindful of how it wears throughout the day – not implying it misbehaves but a quick T-zone check wouldn’t hurt anyone. So did any of you notice if it creases o transfers after a couple of hours wear?

ParticipantReply: Indeed, the Tower 28 concealer does come in pretty impressive shade range. However, has anyone tried using a damp beauty sponge for its application? I’ve found that this method really helps in blending the product seamlessly into your skin. Another thing to note is that though it’s quite hydrating (no alcohol or synthetic fragrances, yay!), it can crease after a few hours of wearing if you have deep-set lines under the eyes. That said, investing in a good setting powder might be necessary for those long days. Always remember to do a patch test before applying anything new! Anyone else got any tips or tricks for this product?

ParticipantTotally agree that the shade range of Tower 28 concealer is a game-changer, especially for those with unique undertones. I’m an olive undertone and find it hard to get a perfect match, but their ‘Almond’ was spot-on for me. 👌 If you’re unsure about your shade, I’d suggest doing some patch testing first – we all show up a little different in various lights! Also, don’t forget to compare it with your foundation’s undertone before purchasing. A mismatch can result in a noticeable contrast!

ParticipantAgreeing with you all on the amazing shade range of Tower 28 concealer. I’ve been using it daily for a couple of weeks now and it’s honestly one of the best I’ve tried. The finish is more natural compared to other heavy-duty concealers out there and it doesn’t sink into fine lines or creases.
However, I did notice around the 6-hour mark, that it started to show some signs of wear, particularly in my T-zone area because let’s face it, my skin can get pretty oily there. I found setting it with a light dusting of translucent powder really helped with the longevity, so if you’re dealing with similar issues give that a try!
Just an observation: its formula seems pretty gentle, no noticeable fragrance and definately didn’t irritate my sensitive skin, though as always, you might wanna do a patch test if you’re prone to reactions.
In terms of application, I prefer using a small fluffy brush (N°7 from Brand X works great) to really work the product into the skin for the most natural finish. Overall, despite the slight wear issue in the T-zone, I’d highly recommend giving this one a shot!

ParticipantAgreeing with the praises for the shade range of Tower 28’s concealer! Beyond that, I think we should give a nod to its ingredients too. For those who aren’t aware, this gem is free from fragrance and alcohol, which are common irritants in many beauty products. That being said, it does contain talc and silica, so if you have skin sensitive to these ingredients or want something all-natural, you might want to patch test first or look for alternatives.
In terms of application, less is definitely more. I found the formula quite potent so a light hand served me well. Also, as it’s a very creamy formula, it can be easy to over-apply. A good technique would be gently tapping it under your eyes with your fingertips or using a damp beauty sponge for the most natural finish.
As for wear test results: mine lasted about 8 hours before I started noticing minor creasing in my T-zone area. Despite that, no serious transference issues. Overall, a reliable choice on most days.
If you’re looking for a dupe or just want to explore other options for comparison’s sake, consider trying Maybelline’s Fit Me Concealer – an affordable alternative with nice coverage and a wide shade range too.
