beauty buffs, took the plunge annd finally got my hands on the much-hyped Tower 28 concealer. I picked up shade #3 which matched my medium skin tone with warm undertones absolutely perfectly. The coverage is solid – enough to hide my blemishes and dark circles without making me look caked. Power of a liquid but feels like a creamy blendable dream! Noticed it’s self-setting too, didn’t seem dry or settle into fine lines (Ugh those under-eye creases!). Kept looking smooth and bright even after 8-hour wear.
Has anyone else found this magical quality in their Tower 28 concealer review or am I just lucky? And yeah, my big question: “Does it crease without baking?”

As an absolute concealer-fiend, I must say your review really makes Tower 28 appealing – especially since it seems to have a natural finish that’s perfect for daily wear. However, I found a somewhat cheaper dupe for this one if affordability is something you’re considering: the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. It doesn’t have as wide a range of shades as Tower 28, but in terms of texture and longevity, it gives a good run for its money!

For application, I can’t stress enough the magic that a tiny beauty blender sponge can work! Dampen it slightly and press (don’t sweep) the concealer into the skin for that flawless non-cakey look.

Of course we’ve got o remember different skins react differently to various ingredients, so it would be wise to carry out a little patch test before holds-barred application. This is especially important because, unlike the Tower 28, Maybelline has a bit of fragrance if you’re sensitive about that.

Aaand just as the cherry on top, set everything with some translucent powder to avoid creasing or smudging – here’s where baking can be your best friend! Trust me it certainly takes your concealer game up by several notches!

Regarding shade match, if you’re somewhere between Tower 28’s shade “30” and “35” like me, you might find Maybelline’s “Sand” an adequate match.

Rounding up my experience, Maybelline holds well around my T-zone for about 7-8 hours before lightly fading. I’d love to know how they compare wear-wise in your experience too?

Wow, you’ve painted Tower 28 in such a positive light – I’m tempted to give it a try! I agree that a concealer should feel skin-like yet achieve good coverage. Speaking of the shade range though, how’s the undertone selection? For my part, I have a specific challenge in finding concealers with the right warm undertones.

Since ingredients are also important to me, I really appreciated that you touched upon the inclusion of soothing elements like calendula and green tea extract. As someone who prefers alcohol and fragrance-free formulations, this is great news.

On the wear-test front, does it withstand T-zone oiliness throughout the day? My current HG (holy grail) concealer manages jsut okay – but room for improvement there. Also, what’s your application tip for getting optimal coverage without accentuaitng dry areas?

Last but not least: do you know any cheaper dupe with similar formula and finish? Although Tower 28’s price point seems justified given its ingredient list and performance, it never hurts to have an affordable alternative on hand!

Agreed, the Tower 28 concealer truly stands out in the sea of concealers available today. I’ve tested it for almost a week now and it’s been great even on my oily T-zone area. No creasing whatsoever and it stays put after many hours! It’s also very hydrating which is an absolute win for me.

I found the shade range suitable for many skin tones – although fair skinned people might want to do a bit of mixing and matching. They have some lovely warm undertones that suit my skin well. BIG bonus: They are fragrance-free, alcohol-free which makes me feel so good about using them regularly!

For application, I use my trusty sponge for blending it nicely into the skin. Just remember to do a patch test beforehand since we all are different and products can affect us differently.

Now onto its dupe situation – if you’re looking for something similar but cheaper, consider Maybelline’s Fit Me Concealer! The consistency is slightly different, but they provide great coverage, and come with a versatile range of shades as well.

Hope this helps anyone considering switching up their concealer game! Let me know if you have any questions or need more info!

you’re so right about Tower 28 – I love this concealer too! For me, the shade match is quite impressive as well. They cater to a wide range of undertones which is such a game changer. If you’re in the medium with golden undertone range like me, ‘Latte’ is your BFF – reminds me of NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in ‘Ginger’, but Tower’s formula is much more hydrating. Did any of you find your perfect shade match too? Isn’t it just the best when concealers recognize our undertone needs?

Reply: Absolutely agree with everyone praising the Tower 28 concealer – it’s been a game changer for me too! I’m intrigued about how everyone is finding the shade match. My undertone leans more towards neutral, and I found that their ‘Almond’ shade suited me well. Has anyone with a cool undertone tried this brand yet? Also, quick tip: I love applying this with a damp beauty sponge for a really natural, dewy finish. Did anyone else have luck with this route? Or did you find another application tool worked better? Definitely do a patch test before slathering it on if you’ve bought it online and can’t check for reactions in person. It’s packed with skin-loving ingredients but always better to be safe than sorry!

Absolutely! The Tower 28 concealer has been a breath of fresh air in my makeup routine as well. One application tip that I would share from my own experience is using a damp beauty sponge for blending it out. Seems to give it an even more natural finish without compromising on the coverage. Plus, the hyaluronic acid in it keeps the skin looking plump and hydrated. Remember though, as always, conduct a patch test before fully adopting any new product, as everyone’s skin reacts differently!

Totally on the same page with you guys, the Tower 28 concealer is a gem! The shade range has covered so many undertones beautifully, I found a wonderful match in ‘Almond’. For setting, I’ve noticed that best results come from baking with a light dusting of silica powder rather than talc. Speaking of wear test, it stays put for a good 8 hours on my oily T-zone without any noticeable creasing – absolutely impressive, right? Can’t help but agree that it’s been a revelation to the daily makeup routine. Just remember to do that patch test, you know how individual skin responses vary!

You guys nailed it – the shade range for this concealer is crazy good! I’m usually a tough match with my incredibly fair skin annd pink undertones, but their ‘Fair’ (01) shade is just perfect for me. Comparable to Tarte’s ‘Porcelain Beige’ in their Shape Tape line or Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in ‘Chantilly’ if that helps anyone with similar skin tone like me. It also doesn’t oxidize whatsoever thoughout the day, which has been an issue for me with other brands. Definitely recommend to try and see if you can find your match!

there, totally on board with everyone raving about Tower 28’s concealer. The shade range has been a game changer for me too. Just thought I would share a little tip that’s worked wonders for me – I find that blending it out with a damp beauty blender gives you the smoothest, most natural-looking finish. Also, I never skip setting it with a nice translucent powder (just a light dusting will do), which prevents it from creasing in my under-eye area throughout the day. Hope this helps someone out there! Stay beautiful ❤️

I completely agree with the rave on this Tower 28 concealer’s shade range – it’s quite inclusive! However, a key asset that isn’t getting as much attention is its ingredient list. It’s talc-free, but still provides great coverage and a smooth application. Plus, I really appreciate that it’s fragrance-free, which is fantastic news for those with sensitive skin (always remember to patch test!). The formula also contains no alcohol, meaning it’s less likely to dry out your skin – a huge win in my book! How has everyone found their skin responds to these more gentle ingredients over time?

    #1288

Totally agree with the comments above on the Tower 28 concealer’s shade range! It really is inclusive and such a lifesaver for those of us who struggle to find our perfect match. As for its “wearability”, I wore it for about 9 to 10 hours at work and guys, there was little to no creasing – a huge plus in my book. And guess what? It stood the test against my oily T-Zone! A helpful tip: using your fingers to tap and blend in this concealer works like a charm. Haven’t found any dupes yet, but honestly, why look for one when this one works so well?

I’m with you all on this – the shade range for the Tower 28 concealer is truly impressive. I’ve been wearing it daily for a few weeks now and it still amazes me. One question though, has anyone tried baking with this concealer? As its formula is more on the hydrating side, I’m curious if it could hold up well to baking or tend to crease more because of that extra powder?

    #1290

beauty lovers, if you’re like me and really into the Tower 28 concealer’s shade range but a little dettered by its price point, I’ve found a dupe that might interest you. The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer seems to offer a similarly inclusive shade range that’s quite commendable in its own right. Not to mention, it has a formula that gives you comparable coverage and blendability. Definitely worth trying out if you’re looking for something more wallet-friendly but still maintains that high-quality finish. Don’t forget to patch test first! It’s always smart to test out before diving head-long into any new product, your skin will thank you for it!

Totally loving the conversations swirling around the Tower 28 concealer! Especially about the outstanding range of shades. It’s not often that you come across a brand that pays such attention to inclusivity, and it’s super refreshing. But coming back to the wear test, how did it hold up in the T-zone area? Has anyone faced any creasing issues? Also, a quick tip – I find using a damp beauty sponge gives a flawless finish with this concealer.
