ParticipantJust picked up shade Medium Beige (pretty accurate for my warm undertones) annd guys, I’m realy impressed! The coverage of this elf camo concealer is no joke – full coverage and self-setting. Sure, it slightly creased under my eyes after about 6 hours of wear, but not nearly as much as other concealers I’ve tried. I used a damp beauty blender for application and didn’t experience any dryness or difficulty blending. Next time, I might experiment with baking to see if that helps with the minor creasing. Spot concealing was a breeze too! Do you find that this concealer creases without baking?

ParticipantOh man, you read my thoughts! I just recently tried the elf Camo Concealer. The shade range is pretty decent, with a nice spectrum for different undertones. I find that Fair Rose is a near-perfect match for my cool/pink undertone skin, which is similar to MAC NW13 if anyone’s looking for referenc.
As for the application, I’d recommend using your usual blending sponge or even fingers for a smoother finish. It dries down pretty fast, so better to work in small areas. And don’t forget to blend it out well, unless you want some hefty flashback from the talc and silica in it’s formulation!
And oh boy do those ingredients pack a punch! This product is fragrance-free (score!) but does contain alcohol closer to the end of the ingredients list. Despite this, it doesn’t come off as drying on my skin at all.
I wore it once for about 9 hours before I noticed any significant creasing (picture post-bake potato status). Throughout the wear time, transfer was minimal (almost houdini-like), although it did show signs of discomfort on my T-zone towards the end of the day – so maybe not suited best for those with super oily skin types?
All in all, this really holds up against high-end concealers surpassing some in terms of coverage and even longevity. Have you tried setting it with a powder or using it with a primer? That might make a slight difference as well.

ParticipantYeah, the elf Camo Concealer really comes with a nice range of shades. It was a bit tricky to find my exact match at first, but once I did, I was pretty impressed with its coverage. This concealer is surprisingly heavy duty given its price point! I noticed that it does contain Talc and Silica, so if you’re sensitive to these ingredients, make sure you do a patch test first. My only gripe is that it can get just a smidge cakey in problem areas like my T-zone, especially after an 8-hour wear test. But overall, definitely impressive for a drugstore brand. Have you tried setting it with a baking technique? That helped me a lot with the longevity!

ParticipantOh, I’m so glad you both found your perfect shades in elf Camo Concealer! Did any of you guys find it creasing after a few hours or was it just me? I noticed this especially in my T-zone, about four hours into wear. BTW, do y’all use primer before application? Could that be the culprit of my creasing issue? Also, how do you approach baking with this concealer? Cheers!

ParticipantHa, it seems like we’re all a part of the elf Camo Concealer club here. I cannot deny that the shade range is impressive and will probably compliment every skin tone under the sun! While I found the coverage and longevity to be really good, I did notice a tiny bit of creasing after 5-6 hours of wear (but that might just be my oily T-zone causing trouble). Pro tip: setting it with a light dusting of illuminating powder seemed to do the trick for me! Resistance to transfer could have been better though. If you’re looking for a more wallet-friendly dupe, the Maybelline Fit Me concealer ticks a lot of the same boxes – good coverage, blendability, and an equally extensive shade range. Plus, its consistency seems to resist creasing a bit better in my personal experience. Always remember a patch test when trying new products though!

ParticipantAh, the elf Camo Concealer club, count me in! Agreed, the shade range is realy impressive and it has those warm, cool, and neutral undertones to cater to everyone’s needs. For real though – this gem can play hide-and-seek with my blemishes and dark circles like nobody’s business. On application tips: I personally prefer applying it with a small brush (I use the Sigma F64) and blending it out with a sponge. And yes, it does tend to crease by around hour 6 if you have dry skin like mine – a bit of setting powder over it solves the problem for me. A little elf Halo Glow Setting Powder anyone? Have any of you tried setting it that way?

Participantguys, it’s interesting to see the love for elf Camo Concealer in here! I agree the shade range and coverage are great. But guess what else gives the same impressive results? The Wet ‘n’ Wild Photo Focus Concealer – it’s a fabulous dupe if you’re looking for something easy on the pocket without skimping on quality. From my experience, it offers similar medium-to-full coverage as elf Camo and is just as long-lasting. Plus, a littel bit of it goes a loong way! Did any of you tried this one before?

ParticipantWell, well, if it isn’t the secret elf Camo Concealer society! Count me in too. I’ve sung praises abotu it’s amazing coverage and shade range far and wide. But you know what’s even better? Realizing there are affordable dupes out there that perform just as well – talk about saving some cash!
For instance, Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer gives pretty much the same matte finish as elf, with just as much staying power but at a fraction of the cost. It might be worth giving that one a shot if your budget is tight.
One more tip for our concealer connoisseurs: always patch test new products before applying them to your face – no matter how excited you are to try them out. Does anyone else have some hidden dupes they’d love to share?

ParticipantWell, let’s talk some more about this bad boy! I’ve been testing the elf Camo Concealer for a hot minute, and it truly is a long-wear champion. Kept my under-eye area flawless for about 9 hours before starting to crease slightly in the inner corners, and my T-zone didn’t peek through till near the end of a really long day. I did pair it with a good primer and setting powder, so that might’ve helped it along. If you’re after a concealer that doesn’t transfer onto your clothes or masks (cuz who isn’t?), this one’s worth looking into! Btw did anyone notice it does have a scent? Nothing super strong but noticeable.

ParticipantLOL, I love the ‘elf Camo Concealer Society’! Okay, so my two cents on the wear test:
This concealer has seriously impressive longevity. I have combo skin and it did not crease around my eyes or T-zone even after an 8-hour shift—it was staying put! However, I do set it with a bit of loose powder to ensure things stay flawless. Remember to patch test before full application though guys. Its application is super smooth too, thanks to the large doe-foot applicator which makes covering larger areas and spot concealing super easy.
On a side note, as far as shade matching goes, I am currently using Medium Sand and it’s perfect for my warm undertones. For reference, I’m an NC30 in MAC. Hope this helps!

ParticipantTotally agree with you on the points about elf Camo Concealer’s super-impressive coverage! Just a tidbit for anyone sensitive to certain ingredients, this baby does contain parabens. However, it doesn’t have any fragrances if that often turns ouy to be your skin enemy. I always suggest a patch test first to avoid any potential issues! Also, has anyone tried applying this with a damp beauty sponge? Found it gives the best flawless finish ever!

Participantthere, makeup lovers! So I’m fairly new to the elf Camo Concealer world and thought I’d chip in with my two cents worth. First off – that coverage, right? Amazing; definitely on par with some of the more expensive brands I’ve tried. It even gave my all-time-fave Tarte Shape Tape a run for its money, and at a fraction of the cost. That’s a total win in the dupe department!
But let’s talk application. I found it works best with a damp beauty blender rather than a brush (I tested with MAC No. 217). The sponge seemed to blend it out just a little smoother, ya know?
As for shade matching, I found it pretty easy to find my perfect match. Usually, sifting through shades can be like “does this one match or is that one better?”. But somehow Elf got it right with their undertones. For reference, I am an NC25 in MAC and chose the shade ‘Light Sand’. Spot on!
The ingredients didn’t raise any major red flags for me; no strong fragrance or alcohol which was cool. Always best to do a patch test though especially if your skin’s super sensitive.
In terms of wear test… essentially flawless! Stuck around for a solid 8 hours without any creasing or caking (was wearing primer so gotta mention that), although started feeling a wee bit oily by hour 6 around my T-zone.
Is anyone else getting great results like this or better? Also, are there any setting powders you’ve tried that work especially well with this concealer?

Participantthere, it seems we all are a part of the elf Camo Concealer fan club, huh? I mean the coverage this concealer gives is amazing and gosh, talk about the staying power.
However, I’ve got a question for everyone here: Does anyone else find it a bit tricky to get the right shade match first time round? It’s my belief that a couple of shades have an undertoney surprise, if you know what am getting at. For instance, I ordered Light Sand thinking it was gonna be perfect for my warm undertones but was surprised to see a cool pink undertone when I applied it.
Also, yep! The finish is stunning without being overly cakey or drying though you need to patchtest always as it does contain phenoxyethanol and might not suit sensitive beauties. So, any tips on nailing down the right shade would be fab. Perhaps someone has some comparable product recommendations? Thanks ya’ll!

ParticipantI’m a big fan of the elf Camo Concealer’s formula as well! What I appreciate most is that it’s free from alcohol and fragrance, which can sometimes irritate my sensitive skin. It does contain silica and talc though, but they’ve never given me any trouble. Remember that everyone’s skin reacts differently so a patch test before full application can be helpful just in case. Has anyone else found this concealer to work well for sensitive skin types?

Participantguys, jsut a quick question on the elf Camo Concealer. How does it perform in terms of creasing? I have pretty fine lines under my eyes annd some concealers tend to settle in those areas. And what about shade range, specifically for cooler undertones? Would greatly appreciate any of your insights, thanks!
